The Borders Chamber Orchestra was founded in July 2023 and comprises experienced amateur and semi-professional musicians with a collective passion to play beautiful classical music for the enjoyment of our audience.
We are based in Melrose with the lovely Parish Church as our venue. We perform three concerts a year, generally in February, June and November and, in addition, you may well see us appearing at various other musical events including the Melrose Music Festival and accompanying the Borders Chamber Choir.
We are a not-for-profit organisation raising money at our concerts for charities with local connections.
